If you’ve noticed the silence here lately, it’s because I’ve been buried in a theme update. The entire month of October went into fixing layouts, adjusting colors, and second-guessing every little detail. What I thought would take a week somehow stretched into a full month of tweaking. But honestly, I’m happy with how it turned out.
Theme Update Progress
The site feels more me now. Cleaner, lighter, and easier to navigate. I finally changed the color from the boring white, edited my header, and removed unnecessary plugins that were just slowing things down. I even crafted a few of my own to fit what I actually need. It took some trial and error, but I’m proud of how it turned out.
I wanted this space to reflect what Kat&Beyond has become over time. Still personal, still simple, but a bit more intentional. It’s like rearranging your room after years of ignoring the same setup. You don’t realize how much a few small changes can shift the entire mood until you finally do it.
Thoughts After the Theme Update
Taking a break from posting gave me a much-needed reset. Stepping back helped me see what still fits and what doesn’t. Working on the theme update made me appreciate how much this space has evolved and reminded me why I started it in the first place.
I’m almost done with everything, but there are still a few tweaks left to make. You know how it goes, one small change turns into ten more. Still, I’m happy with how it’s shaping up so far.
