Looking Back at 2024 and Setting Goals for 2025 · Kat&Beyond

Happy New Year! I hope your celebrations were full of love, laughter, and everything that makes you smile. As we jump into 2025, I wanted to take a moment to look back at 2024 and share what I’m hoping for this year. Let’s chat about the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

2024: A Year of Growth and Big Moments

2024 was a bit of a rollercoaster. It had its ups and downs, but overall, I saw so much personal growth. One of my proudest moments was seeing my blog post on the ROG NUC970 mini PC gain some serious attention on Google Discover. Watching it rank and connect with new readers felt amazing. It’s a reminder that consistency really pays off.

But, let’s be real – life wasn’t always smooth sailing. My blog took a little break from July to November because I was juggling a few big projects. Two of those went great, while the third taught me an important lesson about prioritizing peace. Walking away from a partnership with a huge company wasn’t easy, but it was necessary for my mental well-being. Sometimes, peace is worth more than any opportunity.

2025 Goals: New Beginnings and Healthier Habits

This year, I’m all about healthier habits. I’m planning to get more walks in, eat better, and even make it back to the gym. My health is a priority, and I want to be in a better place, physically and mentally, for the long haul.

I’m also focusing on being more intentional with my relationships. It’s time to let go of the negativity and stop investing in people who don’t bring positivity to my life. Life’s too short for that. Instead, I’m all about nurturing relationships that are filled with joy and support.

Feeling Thankful for the Support

One of the biggest things I realized in 2024 is just how lucky I am to have such amazing support from my parents – just having them there, supporting me no matter what. They’ve always had my back, even when my ideas might seem a little out there. They trust my judgment, and that means everything. I’ve come to realize just how valuable this is, especially considering the relationship they’ve built with me and all they’ve done to give me a comfortable life. Not everyone has this, and I don’t take it for granted. I’m not trying to sound like a spoiled brat—I know I’m lucky to have the freedom to do whatever I want, not just for the sake of it, but to build something for myself and continue the legacy they’ve started. Above all, I’m deeply thankful for their constant support and for always having my back, no matter what.

Choosing Joy and Freedom

When I think about 2025, one of my main 2025 goals is simple: happiness. I want to focus on what makes me happy—whether that’s blogging, exploring new places, or just enjoying the little things. For me, freedom is about making choices that align with what truly matters. It’s about creating, growing, and living without limitations.

As I step into 2025, I want to send my best wishes to all my fellow bloggers, their loved ones, friends, families, and everyone who supports them, including the wonderful community here at Kat&Beyond. May this year bring you all plenty of growth, joy, and opportunities to shine. I hope we can continue supporting each other, building the lives we dream of, and creating lasting memories with the people who matter most.

Loving the wrong person is like watering a dead plant, hoping it will bloom. Wake up before your heart becomes a graveyard of wilted emotions.
