Looking for the best tasting Bulalo? I would highly recommend Balinsasayaw Lalaan Uno, Silang Cavite branch. Why this particular branch? I’ll telll you more about it later. First, let’s talk about how to get there.

The road that we took is a bit farther. We didn’t take the one coming from Silang East Interchange Exit. Instead, we used the Santa Rosa Tagaytay Interchage Exit. It’s more pleasant and less bumpy road trip.

• From Slex, take Mamplasan exit, head towards the rotonda and go to CALAX.
• Head towards Santa Rosa Tagaytay Interchage Exit.
• Follow the road headed towards Tagaytay then turn onto SVD Rd sign.
• Follow the road headed towards Aguinaldo Highway.
• On your right, you will see Balinsasayaw Restaurant.

Outdoor Dining with Nature

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by an accommodating and funny staff named Del.  As usual, we arrived a bit early. He politely informed us that they’re still preparing the kitchen and we have to wait for 30 mins. It wasn’t a big deal for us at all!

Since we had the place to ourselves, we had fun taking selfies and photos of the venue. Their garden is well maintained, no weird smell and you will see different kinds of butterflies all over the place. An old school nature ambience that you, your friends or family will surely enjoy!

They also have this simply mini playground. This will help kids fuel their curiosity, social awareness and provides physical benefits. Due to pandemic, a lot of kids haven’t been to any kind of playground for quite some time. This will surely be a happy place for them even if its as simple as this.

We didn’t go here just for the ambience. Yes, the place is not as Instagramable as the Farmer’s Table Tagaytay but to me, nothing beats their bulalo! and this is the place to be! Now, let’s talk about their menu.

Balinsasayaw Menu

I couldn’t find an updated Balinsasayaw menu posted online since 2020. The pandemic has changed a lot of things especially when it comes to restaurants.  One major change that i noticed with them is their Menu. Literally! they had to print and stick it to each of their tables. This is to avoid any kind of virus from spreading to one another.

As you can see, their Menu is straight forward and nothing fancy labeled. Just a wide variety of pure traditional Filipino dishes that everyone will enjoy. One thing I like about this restaurant is that they offer HALF bulalo.

Unlike other restaurants, you will have to order their regular size and pay a regular price which is usually between P600.00 to P800.00 with less amount of meat. The Balinsasayaw’s HALF bulalo has generous amount of beef (not shredded bulalo), reasonably priced  and really tasty! No need for condiments or what-so-ever. Just look at the quality and quantity!

Earlier, I mentioned “Why this specific branch?” and why not their Tagaytay branch? Truth, we’ve been to their Tagaytay branch quite a few times since 2013. Before, it wasn’t so crowded their food tastes really great. It was the only Bulalo restaurant that we go to every time we go to Tagaytay.

Why? I know there are a LOT of good bulalo restaurant at Tagaytay but Balinsasayaw has the best ambience among them. 

Kidding aside, I asked Del our server “why the bulalo on this branch is tastier compared to what they serve at their Tagaytay branch?” he said, “depende kasi sa head chef. bawat branch iba.”

To be fair, we haven’t been to their Tagaytay branch since 2019. Because, when we discovered their Cavite branch, that’s where we started going every time we’re in the mood for a Bulalo. It’s less crowded and the huts are more spaced out.

Balinsasayaw Event Packages

Lastly if you are planning to have a small family celebration or gathering, I highly recommend for you to consider this restaurant. They have a well ventilated al fresco dining that can cater your event.

Their meal packages are competitively priced. They have Bilao Packages starts from P1,980.00 good for 4 persons, P2,980.00 good for 6 persons and P3,980.00 good for 8 persons. Meat Lover’s Bilao is good for 8 persons as well costs P4,450 for 1 Kare-Kare, 1 Crispy Pata, 1 Lechon Kawali, 1 Whole Fried Chicken, 1 Grilled Pork Liempo, 1 Pork Sisig, Garlic Rice and Leche Flan. Then just mix and match with other dishes. Surely, It will be a day filled with joyful dining experience!
