Catching Up: Life Lately and What’s Coming in April 2025 · Kat&Beyond

March flew by, and now here we are, stepping into a brand-new month. I hope April brings you peace, progress, and little moments that make you smile. This post is just a quick update on life lately April 2025, from home renovations to personal plans. If you’ve been wondering why I haven’t posted much, well, life has been busy!

A Smart Move and Some Updates

The biggest thing that kept me occupied lately was my townhouse down south. It finally got turned over in the first week of March, and something really special happened that day.

The moment I stepped inside, a small brown butterfly appeared and stayed with me the entire time until I left. I don’t know what it means spiritually, but it felt like a sign – something meaningful in its own quiet way. It’s one of those little moments that I’ll always remember.

Since then, I’ve been deep in planning minor renovations. Nothing grand, though-I’m more of a minimalist, so I’m just focusing on simple updates that make the space feel comfortable and functional. Finding the right contractors, getting things in order, and making sure every detail fits my vision took up most of my time.

I wanted to move as soon as possible because, honestly, city life has been exhausting. This new place is quieter, less polluted, and just feels like a breath of fresh air. Since I work remotely most of the time, I’m hoping this move will help me focus better and improve my overall work-life balance. Life lately April 2025 has been all about making these small changes for a more peaceful and productive environment.

Aside from renovations, I’ve been handling all the necessary paperwork – applying for water, electricity, and internet services. If all goes well, everything should be set by the first week of June. 🤞🏻Fingers crossed!

The main photo for this post will be my actual view from the house. When I picked the lot, I thought it would be a garden, but it turned out to be a playground(ish). Oh well-nothing a good set of soundproof curtains can’t fix! What’s important is that the fresh air here is amazing—totally pollution-free!

Taking a Step Back in February

Before all the house turnover and planning, I actually took a break in early February. I traveled for a bit – not to explore new places, but to step away from responsibilities and clear my head.

Sometimes, a short reset makes all the difference. Looking back, that trip helped me prepare mentally for everything that followed. I’ll be sharing more about that experience soon.

What’s Coming in April 2025

Now that I’m settling into this transition, I need to be more active here again because this blog serves as an important outlet for my mental health. I have so many things lined up, from home updates to personal reflections and maybe even a few travel stories. As soon as the house starts feeling more like home, I’ll be able to focus on my plans without distractions.

If March was about adjusting, April is about moving forward. I’m excited to see how things unfold in life lately April 2025, and of course, I’ll be sharing more along the way.

Oh, and before I wrap this up – March 25, my fiber connection went out! After days of dealing with customer service, escalating the issue, and finally getting a technician out today, they found out that my fiber line had been cut for some unknown reason. No clue how that even happened, but at least it’s finally fixed. Glad to be back online!

Thanks for sticking around, and I hope your April is off to a great start! Let me know how life’s been treating you lately. 😊
