With the fast pace of modern living, many of us have become dependent on mobile devices to get more work done. Let’s face it: we often need to send things on the go or type up that report in a hurry, but laptops take up so much space in a bag. This is why tablets have become increasingly popular for improving our productivity.
Because my old Tab A6 (2016) was slowing down but I enjoyed its design and reliability, I decided to go with a new Samsung model.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite LTE looked promising and was offered at a good price point, so I took the plunge and grabbed it. I thought it would be good value for money, but how did it fare when I finally tried using it? Read on to find out!
Sleek, Simple Design For Easy Use
One immediate huge plus for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is its slim design. It weighs only 371g, making it easy to carry as well as a snap to pack in your bag. Despite this small package, it comes with a 8.7-inch display for excellent screen-to-body ratio.
This screen size also made navigation simple, because I was able to navigate between apps and functions with just one swipe. Samsung promised that this tablet would be optimized for one-hand use, and I have to say that they definitely delivered on this front!
Because it’s so compact, I noticed I could use this tablet for hours without feeling tired. This is a huge plus for people who need to work or play on the go!
Affordable Device Packed With Great Features
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is also one of the most affordable, feature-packed tablets on the market with both WiFi and LTE. Its speedy Octa Core 2.3GHz processor reduces lag as you switch between multiple apps. I bought my Galaxy Tab A6 way back in 2016.
While it’s still working fine, I also noticed that it was slowing down. There’s definitely a noticeable difference in speed and performance between my old tablet and this new one.
Storage isn’t a problem for this compact tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite LTE comes with 32 GB of storage. For those who want to pack more apps or files in their tablet, you can expand it up to up to 1 TB of external storage. That’s more room for your photos, games, and videos, and less worries about having to pare down your files.
Samsung Tab A7 Lite Photo Quality
The photos below is taken using the Tab A7 Lite 8MP rear camera (unedited / unfiltered). The 2 MP front-facing camera is also good enough to get you through video calls and the occasional photo.
Personally, I purchased this tablet for office use. The camera is good enough for taking photos of the documents that our company needs for inventory and delivery updates.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite LTE: My Verdict
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite LTE is a must-buy for those who need a fast, inexpensive tablet. It’s also an an excellent mobile device for supporting digital learning, whether students are attending in person or virtually.
The best part? I got mine at an incredible price point. Because of a promo last July 31, 2022 – I snagged the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite at a Php 2,500 discount. Cheaper than my A6 2016 model! I strongly suggest that buyers keep an eye out for online or in-store promos, because these can help you save a bundle.
